USMLE Preparation Course

Program Overview

St. Martinus University has developed a unique approach to effectively prepare students for USMLE Steps 1 and 2 and the Canadian Qualifying Examinations.

This University recognizes the growing importance of Board Examinations in medical education.

This program consists of daily discussions in class regarding selected questions taken from established Board Review texts. This Review Program begins from semester 1 and continues until the student begins a clinical program.

At the end of each of the four (4) semesters, the student has the option of taking a 200 question examination that covers the material for that semester. At the end of the first year, the student may take an exam that covers the entire year. This same system is available for the second year. Finally, the student takes a simulated Board Examination. In all, the student will have been tested with over 2400 questions.

The objective of this Board Review Program is to prepare correctly the student for the examination, clerkship rotations and clinical practice.
