St. Martinus University's MBA Health Management program will be nationally recognized as a leader in education, service, scholarship, and practice.

Mission

The mission of St. Martinus University's MBA Health Management Program is to prepare doctors of physical therapy who are advocates for the health and wellness of individuals and society, and who are dedicated to patient/client-centered clinical excellence, lifelong professional development, and scholarly activities.

Core Values

Goals:

The aim of this qualification is to provide learners with an understanding of management within the health and social care sector. Learners will develop practical skills for a management career through a range of specialized units that include how to research and implement improvement for their employer and within the sector.

It is composed of the following notable features:

Competency Model

The MBA Program uses a Competency Model to guide the curriculum, preparing students for professional healthcare management careers. The model has been developed with input from healthcare managers, executives, practitioners and alums. By achieving these competencies throughout the program, students are well-prepared for the challenges of working in the healthcare industry.

Students may take select non-equivalent courses offered in one of the following programs: Online MBA, MS in Healthcare Data Analytics and courses from the MS in Bioethics program.
